The Prix du Rayonnement International was once again granted to Carol Cassistat, Artistic Director, by the CCRQ and the City of Quebec, in recognition of TGM’s dynamism and development on the international level.

Nominated for the 2017-2018 BEST TOUR award at the RIDEAU Awards Gala for the 85-show, 30-venue tour of Mon Petit Prince

Mon Petit Prince, a co-production of Théâtre du Gros Mécano and Théâtre de la Petite Marée, was voted best show of last season by family audiences, and best show by the Jeunes Critiques de l’Arrière-Scène, a jury of children who attend every show in the season.

The young critics also nominated Mon Petit Prince for two awards: Best Production, awarded to director Marie-Josée Bastien, and Best Text, awarded to Anne-Marie Olivier and Marie-Josée Bastien.

Terrier – Forêts, sentiers et menus trésors won the Young Critics of l’Arrière-Scène awards for sets, costumes and props. Congratulations to Dominique Giguère, who designed the entire set.

Special Mention by the Young Critics of l’Arrière-Scène for the set of La Ville en rouge, by Christian Fontaine

 2012

La Ville en rouge was a finalist in the “Young Audiences” category of the Prix de la critique de théâtre (AQCT). Author Marcelle Dubois was a finalist for the Prix Annick-Lansman (2010); and Pierre Robitaille received the Prix Jacques-Pelletier, for puppet and model design of the same show, as part of the 26th edition of the Prix d’Excellence des Arts et de la Culture 2012. The text was published by Éditions Lansman jeunesse, in 2012.

2011

Audience favorite award 2010-2011 for La librairie, part of the Théâtre-Enfance-jeunesse series at La Maison de la Culture de Trois-Rivières.
